Edwards in Wolves loan deal

CARLOS Edwards today joined Mick McCarthy's Wolves on a three-month loan deal.
Edwards will go straight into the former Sunderland manager's squad and is in line to make his debut in the difficult away trip to Swansea City this Saturday.

Edwards, who turns 30 this month, has played for just 17 minutes in the Premier League this season (as a sub against Liverpool), although he did start in Sunderland's uninspiring victory over Northampton Town last week in the Carling Cup.

And the move to Molineux is seen as perhaps the perfect way to kick-start a career which has hit the buffers since the flying winger suffered a string of injuries last injury.
