Woman taken to hosptial after three vehicle crash in Sunderland
One woman has been taken to hospital after a three vehicle crash on Newcastle Road.
Police were called to the scene after the three vehicles crashed in Sunderland around 3.30pm.
One woman has been taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital with whiplash.
Lanes were closed whilst the emergency services were on scene but have since reopened.
