Ryan's creating a Bang!

A TALENTED youngster is enjoying his time in the limelight as a stage favourite.
Ten-year-old Ryan Smith, from Horden, is enjoying flyaway success in a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, at the Sunderland Empire.

Ryan, who lives with his parents Karen and Paul and brother Brodie, five, in Willow Grove, features in the ensemble cast as one of the sewer children and is also an understudy for the principle role of Jeremy.

Mum Karen said: "I went to watch it for the first time the other night and we are so proud of him."
