The wedding of Katie's dreams

BEAMING bride Katie Robson got the wedding of her dreams when she married her sweetheart in a spectacular setting.

The backdrop of Disney's Grand Floridian Wedding Pavilion in Florida was the scene for Katie, 24, and Ben Auty, 26, to tie the knot.

Joining them were 20 close family and friends and Katie admitted: "It was fabulous. The whole experience was brilliant."

Katie, who works in cabin crew for Easy Jet, had met Ben six years ago when they were both working for Garlands at a call centre in Hartlepool.

She said they hit it off straight away and got engaged more than three years after that first get-together.

They decided to get engaged in October 2006 while they were on holiday in Las Vegas.

The wedding in Florida was exactly what Katie wanted from her big day. She said: "It was just everything about it. I am Disney mad. It is where I have always wanted to get married.

"It was brilliant. The weather and everything else was perfect."

Ben, who works in sales and marketing for F Peart and Co, and Katie also decided upon a formal reception back in the UK.

It took place at the Tall Trees, in Yarm, and the couple were joined by 150 family and friends.

The wedding in Florida saw Ben and Katy joined by guests which included chief bridesmaid Jessica Sennett, bridesmaids Olivia Beavis and Faye McKenzie and usher Christopher Robson.
