Easter is approaching at the speed of a bounding bunny.

It’s a time of Christian celebration, a four-day weekend for many workers – and, of course, chocolate eggs.

But at what age does a child stop being given an Easter Egg by their parents? Indeed, is it something all of us ‘grow out of’ – or does the tradition continue into adulthood?

Unlike the more predictable gift-swapping rituals at Christmas, this is something that varies from family to family.

We asked city centre shoppers what they thought.
