IN view of the recent furore in newspapers about rubbish recycling and high cost of buying our energy supplies from abroad, why don't we kill two birds with one stone and get rid of our waste and generate energy by burning our rubbish in purpose-built power stations, as some other countries do?
Councils would then be only too eager to take our rubbish away .
