I REMEMBER Bob (Memory Lane, June 13).
I started my school days in Ward Jackson and went into his shop every day.

He used to use a hand brush to walk with. He was a lovely man.

I lived in Mozart Street, where McDonald's and the car place are now.

If some kids had no money he would give them the sweets. On the corner of Mozart Street we also had a shop run by a lady named Bella.

I was a Coxon back then and lived in number 11. Happy days.

Breward Walk,
